The Alchemist

This was made for the GMTK2021 game jam.

Controls 

W = Death component

A = Left/Force component

S = Life component

D = Right/Enhancement component

Space = Jump

Shift = Switching between brewing and moving

Mouse Left Click = throwing potion when one is ready. The potion will either explode where the mouse was when you clicked, or if it hits a wall-like object (boulders count)

Esc = closes the game

Combine different components to throw different potions, you are immune to your own fire.

Sorry the game is so short and the player is a pink square, the time limit got me by surprise and I ran out of time. If it's well liked enough I might expand it into a bigger game with more levels and enemies (maybe even better art).

Potions:

Force and Death = Implosion potion: destroys cracked walls

Force and Life = Push potion: pushes boulders around

Force and Enhancement potion = Jump potion: creates a cloud that allows you to jump higher while in it

Life and Death = Fire potion: creates a bed of fire to damage your enemies

Life and Enhancement = Healing potion: creates a cloud of healing gas that periodically heals you

Enhancement and Death = Skeleton platform potion: summons a platform of undead for you to stand on, this cannot spawn inside of you and be careful, if you somehow end up inside of it, it will be destroyed
